I look at the "warm" welcome from the family as sort of being a "lessons learned" by Morpheus sacrificing himself. By all the siblings actions...they all in their own way drove Morpheus to his death. And in the end, they all realized they missed him and that he was probably very fearful and isolated, but if the siblings were closer, maybe Morpheus wouldn't have died. Therefore, it is the siblings being changed by Morpheus' sacrifice and death that they are now learning and growing themselves to become a better sibling to the new Dream.
The line the broke me the most was when Destruction said "I've missed him for centuries." I think Destruction truly loved Morpheus and possibly looked up to him the most. We saw that Destruction was trying to create and write a new story for himself, in essence he was trying to be like Dream. Morpheus was a creator, he was the Prince of Stories...and it seems like Destruction was trying to be a bit like him, whether he wanted to admit it or not. I think possibly Destruction understood Dream (both incarnations) better than any other sibling did....which is probably why he set up his house in the one place where he thought Morpheus would never go, and why he went to see the New Dream alone to give him advice because he failed in being there for his brother in the past.

The whole funeral was so good. I especially like what Despair and Delirium said. Despairs speech was also interesting since she mentioned "The first Despair", so Dream isn´t the first Endless that "died" and reincarnated into a new entity.
I wish we could get more from all the other siblings, there is so much interesting stuff they could still explore.
Another reason why I will forever be mad about Dead Boy Detectives, like Despair and Death were already in the first season of that and had potential to get more focus, if they didn´t cancel Dead Boys.... urgh...
I´m also very lost about the mid credit scene and the prophecy. I suspect it might connect to the bonus episode? And yes its very likely Death centric. Which is GREAT. I love her. My "knowledge" about the episode is based on some casting announcements I saw months ago, but I´ve seen conflicting info about those recently, so no idea if some stuff got cut, or if certain things will still show up in the bonus episode. I guess we have to wait for Thursday.
Or I could also relate it back to Dream.
All the stuff with the flowers blooming and wilting by the evening is about life itself.
The morning is the birth, the evening is the eventual death. And then:
"You can be me when I´m gone" (Dream is gone -> Daniel is now Dream) But I´m not sure why they would put something about Dream at the end, since we already know how the Daniel stuff worked out.
So I´ll wait and see for the bonus episode and see if it makes more sense then.
