I think I warmed up to Jace by this point, but he still "gets better" so maybe you will come around yet. The way I interpret it Magnus didn´t catch on that Izzy has an issue. He initially was sceptical, but dropped it when she insisted on having that "special mission". I think if he suspected anything he also wouldn´t have told her that people go straight to the vamps. The Jace and Simon scene, every time those two interact I feel like they should date each other instead of obsessing over Clary. Their banter is kinda fun, even if Simon absolutely should never listen to Jace´s dating advice.
