I think Alec took Jace being Valentine's son so well because he knew Jace for years so he knew his character and were parapatai! I think on top of Clary being Valentine's Daughter Alec didn't trust her because of that reason but also because he didn't know her... still doesn't in fact...

2024-11-20 01:33:26 +0000 UTCFavourite episode of the season! And unsurprisingly it´s because of Malec. I love that whole wedding sequence, and I had the song in the background "War of Hearts" as my phone alarm for years because of it. It´s so good! I didn´t expect Lydia to be that cool with it, but that made me really like her a lot. Oh and she was going to take the cup because as she mentioned with the wedding being off she was going to go back to Idris and get the cup to the Clave, but then Hodge happened. Not sure if you caught that, but when Magnus was reminiscing about Ragna, he also mentioned that he used to love Camille. So... he and the vampire that killed Simon used to be a thing. Alec and Izzy took the whole Jace is Valentine´s son way better than I was expecting, like especially Alec, he was so sceptical about Clary but with Jace it´s just... fine? But I guess they know eachother better and he knows he can trust him, even when Jace himself kinda doubts himself.
