2024-09-27 02:35:45 +0000 UTCi bawl my eyes out to this episode every single time. it’s just devastating. i love all the begins episodes, but chimney begins will always be my favorite. any time kenneth choi gets the spotlight, i know i’m gonna be destroyed because he’s just so good. chimney focused episodes are always top tier. because you are watching lone star in your own time, i will say there is a crossover with og 9-1-1 in s2 of ls (2x03 to be exact) but that coincides with s4 of the og and there are slight s3 spoilers in it which you probably will not have seen by then. i think you’ll be okay to watch it but just something to think about if you maybe want to skip that specific episode til you’re more caught up or you think it’ll be fine.

As for the rest of the team, they acted the same way with Hen when she joined so I personally do not care for them. Love your reactions! Looking forward to more :)

2024-09-22 04:07:23 +0000 UTCThat´s what you get for wanting more backstory episodes! Heartbreak! This is so much better than Hen´s episode. Hen was good, but this was amazing. The connection to the present makes it so much more intense. I love that Eli (paramedic guy) is pretty much the reason why Chim is now mainly a paramedic, and Hen´s partner. If Eli wouldn´t have given him a chance he might have just quit after being stuck just doing chores. The moment with Tommy finally acknowledging and being grateful to Chimney was also really nice, so he had at least a few people even before Hen arrived.
