Remember that I compared this to Dead Boy Detectives to you privately? Now that we are a bit into it. Let´s elaborate on it and see if it sounds familiar. Deeply repressed guy has a crush on his male best friend. The best friend doesn´t realize that and is interested in the new girl that showed up. The repressed guy is kinda on edge and jealous of the new girl. Oh and also a person with cat features (in this case cat eyes) is hitting on the repressed guy. And that´s why this show is essentially just Dead Boy Detectives! (And I love both of them) On to the episode. I love Magnus, he is great! Can´t wait to see more of him. Simon probably should have gone to the Shadowhunters, they are clearly the safer option compared to going to vampires, but he doesn´t trust them, mostly because Jace kept being kinda a jerk to him. Alec acted stupid, I think only really Isabelle knows about his feelings, but I also still get why he got defensive and upset about it. I´m more upset about not knowing who would have shown up for Jace and Magnus. Jace clearly said before he was never in love. And Magnus would just have been interesting to see.
