2025-03-11 21:21:57 +0000 UTCThis episode had me so up and down. The Darren and Cash situation had me upset. It is tough since they both want very different things and they both shouldn't feel like they have to change who they are to be together. But they have such a real connection, so it's hard watching them break up this episode even though it is very realistic. As for Dusty, I think I read somewhere that the actor had scheduling conflicts and could only be on set for a few days. Unfortunately, they probably had to try and figure out a plausible reason for him to only really be in a few scenes. I think his character just felt so random popping up in this episode to drive the main story forward with Cash and Darren. If they maybe told us something prior about them being bestfriends a while ago, it might've been more believable. But yeah, it does feel off especially since he was such a main character in season 1. I wonder if he will be in season 3 and actually finish a character arc for him. The whole scene when the election results came out had me laughing so hard. The political humor is not lost in this one. As for Amerie and Rowan, I just sat through their scenes panicked about what was going to happen because its such a scary situation. All of their interactions are directly based on how he's feeling. There weren't any Bird Psycho attacks while he was spending more time with Amerie. But as we see in this episode, the minute she has something else going on he gets angry and immediately prints her pictures. It's such a bad situation, and crazy to see a complete switch in Rowan like that.
