2024-07-07 08:13:14 +0000 UTCMadison (Julie) and Charlie (Luke) wrote Perfect Harmony on their own together and showed it to Kenny, and then it got put into the show! Which is really cool. I agree on the presentation, I think they intentionally wanted to make it kinda 80s, and also paying a bit of homage to Dirty Dancing (another one of Kenny Ortega´s films) with Luke´s hairstyle but... yeah not a fan of that choice. Absolutely LOVE the "Chemistry" scene between Luke and Reggie. This scene alone fuels all my headcanon´s that all the guys are queer lol. Alex is obviously gay, and I believe Reggie is bi and Luke is pan. And I know I´m a broken record, but man, still so bitter about this being cancelled. Edge of Great feels like another song specifically made to taunt us in retrospect. "I believe that we are just one dream, away from what we are meant to be, we are standing on the Edge of Great" like, we had something great here and they took it away before it could reach it´s full potential! Ahh, I´ll be forever frustrated.
