It's cool to see more of Non's background in this episode. Cause he did come across as someone without any friends who other people at school think is weird. But as we see more of Non, we see that he does have other stuff going on, etc., that the boys didn't know about.
Haha, you joking about Mr. Keng then taking it back immediately made me laugh. You going back and forth during the scene was how everyone felt during the scene, haha.
Mr. Keng is such a creep. I don't know what his full intent is with "exposing" the scammers, but you don't need to sleep with a 16 year-old to do so. Age of consent is lower in Thailand, I think it's like 15 or something. But that doesn't mean Mr. Keng couldn't still get in legal trouble since Non is still not a legal adult. And it's still just wrong in general anyway. The sex scene with them just gives me the creeps, and it obviously is supposed to.
It's sad to see Non try to 'defend' Mr. Keng in a way. He feels like he has no one so he grips onto anyone who gives him attention. Probably the same reason he stuck around the boys even though they were awful to him.
I was indifferent towards Jin before, but he goes wayyyy down my list after this. Like I mentioned in the last episode's comment, I feel like that was Jin's first reaction because his "kindness" is conditional. He liked Non, that's why he was being kind to him. And he has no right to be jealous, but does anyway and that "kindness" goes away. I can't remember if it's episode 2 or 3, but there is a scene where Fluke says "Oh right, cause you're such a good guy, aren't you?" to Jin, which makes so much more sense now.
In a weird way, Fluke is kinda right. He really hasn't done anything. But he has let everything else go on, a true bystander that didn't step in.
