This specific episode gave me a bit of a headache too, but I think some people really enjoy the deep ‘chess match’ feel of the narration, like Dre mentioned before. The arc builds toward some of the best moments in anime history, so even if it feels dragged out, it really pays off later.

2025-10-19 19:19:38 +0000 UTClol toldja i cant stand this are because its WAY longer than it needs to be.... like i said last episodes.. its 14 episodes before you get to see Gon do what you want him to do.... now what could POSSIBLY be happening in 13 episodes that its gonna take THAT long to get to that part? So yeah get used to a lotta episodes with "nothing exciting" happening just like this one (of course seeing the chairman fight the King will definitely be exciting).... speaking of which wasnt it like 5 episodes ago where they started walking off to a location to fight yet we havent really seen em since? This is what i mean about this arc dragging stuff out way too long lol
