2024-02-05 16:16:27 +0000 UTCWoo! Excited! I've been listening to the cast recording for like a month and a half and peeved it wasn't nominated at the Oscars for best songs lol Yes, it is a musical. It annoys me when I tell people it is because they are like "Oh, why would they turn it into a musical and Gene's is the best" and I have to remind them that the Gene Wilder movie WAS a musical and so was Johnny Depp's...heck even the book has songs in it! lol Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is one of the rare books I've read more than once. I mean Shayla Chalamet has a nice ring to it ;) Looking it up and it looks like both are correct. "Timitee" is how it's pronounced in French and "Timathee" is how it's pronounced in English.
