Because an bio parent does show up at times trying to meet them or be in their lives, and it's hard for the child to react to the news. After finding out the news at times they shut out their friends. There are so many other examples but I will stop there. If anyone wondering why I have insight of the world of foster kids and adopted kids, because my grandma was an CASA.
