They don´t really explain what happened to Kuina in the live action, so I´ll fill in the blanks. It´s not something remarkable. She tripped and fell down the stairs, a really unfortunate accident. Usually you would expect something big to have happened, but it was just that. And it´s sad that Zoro and her never got to fulfill their promise together. I really don´t like Kuro, and I don´t think he is a particularly good villain. Especially for someone, whose whole thing are plans, his plan kinda sucks? He could have had a really comfortable and easy life if he stayed Kaya´s butler. And how did he expect no one to question that Kaya dies immediately after she gives him the shipyard? That´s not suspicious at all. I love the Going Merry! It´s a great ship! Also, when they started sailing they played the melody of the first anime opening, and it´s so good! In general, I just want to mention that I really enjoy the soundtrack they made for this adaptation. It´s great.
