I think Syrup Village/Usopp´s introduction is one of the weaker story arcs, especially in the beginning. But I still like it.
By the way, Usopp´s name is a wordplay. Uso is japanese for lying. And Usopp frequently makes things up.
Usopp´s dad was by the way the guy we saw last episode using guns to beat the bandits that attacked the bar. The guy that used a pipe to let his shot deflect and hit the bandit from an angle.
We actually saw Kuro´s wanted poster in the safe they stole from the marinebase, next to the map of the Grand Line.
I think you mixed some things up between Usopp and Kuro? Kuro isn´t working there since he was a boy. Kaya´s parents gave Usopp a job after his mom died. Kuro started working for them 3 years ago. So he was a pirate and then became Kaya´s butler.
The game Koby was playing with Garp is called "Go" and originates in China. I know some people get annoyed by the amount of screentime we spend with the marines, but I really like those scenes with Koby.
