2023-10-13 01:55:59 +0000 UTCthem playing ‘you are my sunshine’ at the end of this episode after the brian/justin of it all always kills me. one of my favorite music moments of the entire series. this is also one of my favorite episodes and that brian/michael fight is so well acted i have watched it many times. now that you’ve gotten through the first half of s5 (which i almost always skip on rewatch until this episode) i’m gonna hopefully catch up so i can watch the second half along with you. the first half is just so rough with the custody battle, hunter leaving and brian reverting (which is esp frustrating after s3 & s4). i understand why it was done from a story perspective, but it brings me no joy.

2023-10-09 07:10:52 +0000 UTCThis is like one of my top 3 favorite episodes of the whole show. The fight between Michael and Brian, was like top notch. You're right Michael was probably the only one to be able to call him out like that. Justin and Brian at the end were so awkward, they weren't even that bad when Justin was with Ethan. I always love Jen's hate for Justin's flat. Ted always makes me kind of sad, Scott(Ted) has this way of looking completely broken. I hate Lindsay's parents so much. A mature relationship, idiots. And as much as I love and want Justin and Brian to be together, you have to admit, Justin while sad about the breakup seems actually happy.
