2023-09-11 19:00:47 +0000 UTCSo Newsies was a movie first and then a stage musical. The cast in this show was mostly the OG cast who came back to film this. Most of these Newsies were in the new West Side story xD Jeremy is one of my favorite Broadway performers. I think i should send you the Bonnie and Clyde slime too, I think you'd like it. There's a song he sings in it that rivals Sante Fe for me. Jeremy grew up with Newsies and that was the movie that made him want to be an actor so this role was special to him, not to mention this is his first role on Broadway that he originated. Crutchie's actor is adorable too. He's also in a musical called Tuck Everlasting and that's really good too! I feel like they've been using projection more and more recently. There is one really cool effect they did in the musical Twice Charmed which is a musical on a Disney Cruise ship that's basically a sequel to Cinderella. they projected a scene from the animated movie on the curtains and then would raise the curtains to show the actors in that scene. It's really cool what they can do with it.

You would like Jeremy in The Flash musical episodes even though you would have no context 😂 it's still a fun watch. Jeremy was in The Flash episode because it was a crossover episode with Supergirl and he was one of the main characters in Supergirl for the first 3 season then after that he was a guest star here in there through out the rest of the seasons.
