oOo Spanish teacher! I have a question then lol Why is it Las Flores? I though it would be Los, but maybe it's because the Flowers belong to the house which is feminine?

2023-08-26 21:18:11 +0000 UTCYes! I thought maybe you'd decided against doing this show after all, so I'm glad to see it was just on hiatus. Cultural mention for the episode (can you tell I'm a Spanish teacher? Lol), but the concept of "the ¿Qué dirán?" ("What will they say?", i.e. being concerned with public perceptions) is famously strong in Mexico, so much so that it literally gets referred to by just that name in quotes—"the" included—and people know exactly what you're talking about. So seeing Virginia be so worried about it is even less surprising than it would be in the U.S.
