2023-08-03 21:00:32 +0000 UTCThe contrast between Tao and Elle being cute and finally kissing, and the things with Charlie. Let´s focus on Elle and Tao first, glad it finally happened! It´s about time. All their interactions in Paris are so much better than anything they were doing at the date. Tao causing Charlie being outed. It was an accident, but it also explains so much why Tao was so protective and kinda overbearing in season 1. He blames himself for the bullying, so that´s why he was extra wary of Nick and tried to prevent Charlie from being hurt further. Tara and Darcy need to communicate more clearly, especially on Darcy´s side, since Tara is getting frustrated. Now the big thing. Charlie! Charlie´s issue with eating. They made it a lot more apparent and focused on it in season 2, with the dinner, and the ice cream etc. And also when he came back from Nick and his dad wanted to offer him food Charlie said he already ate at Nick´s, which we didn´t see. But they were hinting at it a lot in season 1 too. Charlie declined the popcorn Nick wanted to buy when they were at the movies with Nick´s friends, Tori offered to make him pizza, when he was sad and said he shouldn´t exist, and he said he wasn´t hungry. And that should have been a red flag, no one refuses pizza! And you really didn´t think about it during season 1, but now it recontextualizes a lot of these scenes.
