HT! Sketches: Book II (52, 53, 55, 58)

Once again, there was a lot of experimenting concerning the Horrortale world in grayscale vs color. I liked matching the colors of the original game in this panel, but something about it felt less serious, and oddly more empty, than the consistent gray coloring.
I had this panel from page 58 colored black and white for the longest time. I like it, but it looked a little jarring compared to the rest of the page.

The black and white really is a gut punch (I like it too), but it does give the feeling almost as if Dogeressa has died so the softer grey I have to agree is better lol The sketch progress for the axe is interesting, really funny to me how a few added curved lines to the top and bottom of the back of the weapon can give so much more intimidation and personality!
