Happy 2023 to all SAS patrons~
Added 2023-02-01 01:28:52 +0000 UTCHello to all my Patrons, and Happy 2023! It's incredible to think that 2022 was the end of Horrortale (for now) after all these years writing and drawing for it. If you contribute, please know your support helps me find time and energy to continue creating, and nothing can help me more than that right now :) And a massive shout-out for those who like to enjoy just what's released publicly; your comments, views, likes, and subscriptions are most encouraging to me.
It must be said that, now that Horrortale is over, Sour Apple Studios will not be as active as it once was. Every day I write and sketch for Horrortale Book II, and this absence does not mean nothing is being done. Instead, I hope to take more time to release bigger and better projects this year, rather than sketch and release 1-3 comic pages a week (and almost nothing else in between).
One of these bigger projects is actually near completion. A short "Escape the Room" webgame demo by me will be publicly released for all in the next coming months, with screenshots of the game available to all Pie patrons. In the meantime, fuller updates on the Horrortale Book II status will be released here on Patreon.
Life has its ups and downs, but it remains my goal to complete HT Book II by the end of this year. It's a long time, and it's ridiculous to expect the same reception then as it would have been if I released it now. Whatever you choose to do during this quieter time at SAS is 100% encouraged and understandable. For my remaining patrons, I will continue to release sneak peaks and updates at least once a month.
