HT! Sketches: Book 1 (108)
Added 2021-05-17 01:15:57 +0000 UTCHello all lovely Pie patrons, here's some sneak-peeks on the page 108 drafting madness. PLEASE mind the incorrect page number on this set ^^'
1. This was going to be the first panel of the page for the longest time, before tying into panel 3 above. One of the longest decisions I made was whether or not Sans heard/saw Aliza getting the tomato sauce, and writing how he'd react. In the end it felt like an added detail I could scrap without losing the story, hence the change of panels you see in the final.
2. More images/camera angles I ended up doing away with.
3. Sans watching Aliza talk as if he's eaves-dropping, which I ended up scrapping.
4. Nothing wrong with these panels per say, there just wasn't enough room for them (so often is the case!)
5. The final panel here went through a LOT of revisions (all unusable except for the draft seen here). I could NOT fit a close-up of that blasted tomato can no matter what I tried, so you only end up seeing it being held by Aliza in the final. Shame; if I were a better comic artist I wonder if I could have pulled it off.
