No offense to Johnny Depp, but I absolutely LOVE Andrew Lee Potts' Hatter! If you havent seen it, I hope someone requests a full Primeval reaction to see more of Andrew.

2023-06-08 20:05:47 +0000 UTCOf course! Honestly, I love the characters in Tin man, but out of the three it's my least favorite. So if you wanna request it, I'm fine with that. Just means more tangled...(and means Jess can finally get to the next musical episode lol)

2023-06-08 17:25:28 +0000 UTCIf you're okay with this, Shay... I would like to request The Tin Man for Jessie to watch in July. But only if you're okay with this. I don't want to take away a request from you if you really want to request it yourself. Alice is my favorite of these three miniseries, but The Tin Man is very close, if not equal. I love it!! I'm honestly not too big a fan of the Neverland miniseries, sadly. So, you can absolutely request that one. :) Let me know if you're okay with me requesting The Tin Man! Thank you again for this request, Shay! Great pick!! :) Sincerely, Heidi

2023-06-08 10:20:38 +0000 UTCI was waiting for you to realize his name is Charlie. like they literally called him that and then you were "GEORGE!" a second later it was hilarious! X'D Never doubt my picks again xD jk jk I'm glad you like it! This, OUATIW, and the Tim Burton version are my guilty pleasures...and of course the classic animated one is my favorite non-princess disney animated movie. Basically...I'm a sucker for wonderland. David Hatter is one of my favorite versions of the character as well...plus I have a huge crush on him. I may have based a character on him when I had to write a short story in high school. We stan sassy bois who are devoted to their head strong ladies xD I love this Alice as well, I'm not sure if I like her as much as Tilly or the one from the Tim Burton film, but I love her badassary. She makes the character her own. Something I read on tumblr that I think is really fitting is that Both her and Hatter started off as selfish in different ways...but in the end they both learn to put others before themselves through each other. Alice nor Hatter forced them to change, they just made the other better. So I was watching this up until my alarm that told me I had to go to work and it rang right at the looking glass scene so I had to wait 9 hours to see your reaction to them awkwardly saying goodbye and then the epic kiss at the end. THank you for reacting!! I'm so happy you like it!! I'll have to request Tin Man and Neverland at some point too. It's the same people behind this and knowing how much you like Oz I think you'll dig Tin man...and I love Peter Pan so you cnat go wrong with that one. THe kid the have playing him is so good and the Hook is great.

2023-06-08 07:26:39 +0000 UTCAlice- Thank you so much for your marvelous reaction to Syfy's, Alice, Jessie! I absolutely adored this miniseries back when it first aired on TV years ago, and I still love it even now! This miniseries is definitely one of my absolute favorite film adaptions of Alice in Wonderland too. So much so, that I wish it came from a novel so we might have been able to get a little more of the story. And as much as I love the ending between Alice and Hatter within our world, I wish this miniseries could have been longer, so we could have seen a little more of Alice's and Hatter's love story blossom within our world after the events in Wonderland. I also would have liked to see Jack as King, the Dutchess as Queen, and Charlie as their advisor and friend. Hatter, played by Andrew Lee Potts, is definitely my favorite character throughout this miniseries. I love everything about him, and I love how Andrew Lee Potts brings to life this unique version of the Mad Hatter. I also absolutely love his love and devotion to Alice, as he fights to make sure she is safe above all else, no matter if it costs him everything, including his own life. And it nearly does, but thankfully, he is able to fight his way free and escape his prison and is able to find Alice so he can fight by her side to protect her. Alice and Charlie are both really great too! Like you... I love that Alice is strong and fierce. I love her own unique take on this character too. And Charlie is a lot of fun, as well as funny. Matt Frewer is a brilliant comedian from a great number of movies and shows. He's just great! As for Jack Heart... I like his overall character. Although, I never liked his romance with Alice. Even before Hatter is even introduced. He and Alice are just too different and don't fit well together. So, I am so happy to see that the true love story within this miniseries was set up early on between Alice and Hatter, because they are absolutely adorable together. But I love how he stands up against his mother, and even fights in the resistance against her. Kathy Bates as the Queen of Hearts, and Colm Meaney as her husband, the King of Hearts, are fantastic as well. Kathy Bates is great in practically every role she's ever played. She's just a great actress, and I've seen her in a lot over the years. And I've enjoyed a lot of Colm Meaney's works as well. And yes... I love that the King of Hearts finally resists his wife and refuses to go along with her desires any longer too! Although, it's really sad that he dies in the end, because he's come to loathe himself so much upon recognizing that his wife, whom he has sacrificed everything for just to make her happy, has never and will never love him. Now, Like I've mentioned... I absolutely love and adore the blooming love story that grows between Alice and Hatter. Not only do these characters' actors have great chemistry, but so do their characters. I especially love that Hatter is willing to sacrifice his own happiness, and even his life for Alice because he does come to love her so much by the end. Thankfully, Alice finally does come to accept her feelings for Hatter in the very end upon seeing that he would give everything for her, once she comes to finally trust him completely, which she resisted to do for most of this miniseries thanks to Jack's deceptions and lies. I just love them!! And so I wish we could have seen more of their romance once Hatter comes over into our world to be with Alice in the hope that she could love him back. Overall... I love this unique miniseries!! And I loved seeing how much fun you were having watching it too! So, thank you again for this fabulous reaction to Syfy's, Alice, Jessie! And thank you too, Shae! For requesting it for Jessie to watch!! My best wishes to you, Jessie! :) Sincerely, Heidi
