2023-05-27 13:15:59 +0000 UTCwhat a great episode! i loved the overarching theme of following your dreams. as much as i love the lighter and more fun episodes, these more serious ones are always a fav. justin’s story breaks my heart. the fact that he was about to give it all up because he felt so defeated is just devastating. thank god for lindsay and brian really stepping up and being there for him in their own ways. justin is so strong and seeing him reevaluate the situation and finally giving the new computer a try after everything made me so proud. you just can’t keep him down. and michael finally realizing what he wants to do with his life! him selling that comic was huge. he wanted it for years and he gave it up for something more important to him. he couldn’t let this opportunity pass and i’m glad he went for it and that he finally quit the big q. oh teddy, the porn addiction is definitely a problem he’s had for a while and this new business venture is certainly a bold choice but it is something he loves and you know he’ll actually be invested in it so it could work out. i have to say brian was such a good friend and partner in this episode and surprised me in the best way. he saw the computer at work and immediately thought of how it could help justin, he risked a lot of money and helped michael with the ebay trick, and he made a call and got ted a job interview to get him off his ass instead of placating him with nice words. he may be a dick a lot of the time but brian really comes through when the people in his life need it. it may not be in his words, but his actions show so much.
