By taking the scarf off his neck and discarding it on the floor, Justin removed Brian's hold on the trauma he was punishing himself with. The fact that Brian specifically sought out a psychiatrist from his pool of tricks, shows his dedication to help Justin in the best way. These two beautiful men have me by the throat! Thanks for your great reactions 😀

2023-05-09 01:34:31 +0000 UTC“then i knew why debbie calls you sunshine” THAT LINE !!! brian may say he’s not a romantic but the way he says these things sometimes. there’s so many moments like that in this episode too. the way he repeated “ridiculously romantic” to try to trigger his memory and the “you should have been there” about the kiss at prom. it destroys me that justin doesn’t remember their dance or any of that moment. especially because he had said it was the best night of his life and he wouldn’t forget it. i hate that it was taken from him. michael saying “you always liked dancing with justin” was such a low blow when he knew about prom and how brian was struggling over not being able to see him anymore. it sucks he feels lost but i agree that it is a little dramatic because not much has really changed with everyone in the 2-ish months since the finale. they all still hang out every day and their lives aren’t all that different. emmett and ted are still emmett and ted except ted is now jobless. brian is preoccupied with justin but beyond that i don’t really think anyone has moved too forward with their lives. i’m sure it is tough to feel like you’re going backwards by going back to an old job when you thought you were going to have a different life though so i do get that. hopefully he’ll figure something out. i love that we got to see both lindsay and melanie propose to each other in these back to back episodes. so excited to see them get married! i love that you always point out what a loud kisser melanie is because now i can’t not notice it.
