2023-05-08 18:47:16 +0000 UTCi always kinda forget this episode because it’s between two of my favorites but there are some amazing moments in this one mainly in regards to the uncle vic storyline. i’m so glad he decided to fight because as much as i get where debbie was coming from, he deserves to keep his name clean and not be labeled a sex offender when he did nothing wrong. i love emmett for lying about that story to inspire him to fight. that scene with vic talking about how long it’s been since he’s been wanted or looked at and how that was the worst part was a tough one. i just want him to find happiness. i do think david is a good father for immediately wanting to go be with hank and i admire him for that. at least he has that going for him. but i agree that i don’t think he and michael are in love with each other. they love the idea of each other more than anything. lindsay’s speech to brian about all the people who love him in his life and not being able to find that on madison avenue was important. i think she kinda seemed to get through to him more than anyone else. i do wonder if he hadn’t been turned down for the job what would have happened. would he have gone and been successful? miserable? would he come back?
