2023-04-22 19:39:52 +0000 UTCYou are right. Gabimaru and Denji have some similarities. They both don´t really care about what they do, they aren´t enjoying it. Both just do because they have to. Gabi because that´s just all he knows, and in that situation he didn´t have a choice, it was kill or be killed, even though based on how the executions went in the last episode even if he didn´t kill the others I doubt they would have been able to kill him. And similarly Denji only did the Devil Hunting because it was convenient to secure his life. I really like the parallels between Gabimaru and Sagiri and how both of them approach killing. Their relationship could be really interesting. Especially with their power dynamic. She has to kill him if he is misbehaving and he kinda has to protect her because if she dies on the mission he is screwed too. And I don´t think he is used to caring about other people while on a mission.
