But you also have to consider she probably didn't want to leave Isadora with Phillipe, when she knows he doesn't care about consent and might try to take advantage of Isadora while she's all but incapacitated. But again, just like with Ari last season, I wish Caye would just TELL her that Phillipe is a rapist. Isadora might not believe her, but the fact that Caye doesn't share the fact that Phillipe assaulted her with the new girl who's trying to date him gives me strong vibes of a males-only writers room. I'd like to think that if Caye could protect Isadora, she would. So that really didn't sit well with me. Samuel taking the fall to finally have a dad made no sense to me either. This whole season is so dumb. I know I'm months behind, and of course I'm sorry you had to trudge through these stupid eps, but... it's always a joy to see you enjoyed these as little as I did 😅

2023-06-12 16:01:15 +0000 UTCThe writers changed, I just quickly looked it up and it seems like the 2 guys that wrote the entire first season and most of 2-3 aren´t around anymore. I have very different feelings about this episode actually. This is so far my favourite episode of the season. I like it a lot. First, there are some writing inconsistencies again. Like Isadora wanting to be better after she just drugged Phillipe last episode. Like they take those characters in completely different directions from one episode to the next. So I kinda just choose to see each character´s best aspects because they are inconsistent anyway. I´m fine with Caye helping Isadora. Yes I feel bad for Felipe in all of this. But Caye is a good person. She knows of Isadora´s problem and is nice enough to help her get out of the situation without Phillipe finding out how bad it is. Personally I wouldn´t have sacrificed the date with the hot guy either. But as I said before. Caye is a saint. If she is willing to help Phillipe, who attempted to R her I definitely think it´s in character for her to be kind to Isadora, despite Isadora´s behaviour so far. And seeing a vulnerable side to Isadora was nice. She was horrible at the club but I guess she was also extremely high and unhinged. Ivan and Patrick. First of all, to be fair. Patrick didn´t fuck Cruz, they "only" made out, I think? And despite that I still see that sex scene as mostly positive. The way Ivan reacted after the thing with Ari was implying that that was his first time too. And she just did it because she was bored and didn´t get the attention she wanted from Samu. So Ivan doing it with Patrick is a way better first time than Ari. Atleast both of them mutually like eachother. And I think overall it was really cute. With Ivan being a bit awkward and experiencing this stuff for the first time. Really liked this scene. Of course, it´s still messy because the thing with Cruz is unresolved and will blow up eventually, but I still enjoy Ivan and Patrick together. And Patrick only tried to go to Cruz again because he was once again lead on and then pushed away. That doesn´t make it ok, but atleast it didn´t actually happen? And Ivan finally got over his "I´m straight" thing, which got really annoying. I´m definitely a bit biased because I really like Ivan and Patrick so I´m willing to overlook a lot of the messiness and problems. But Cruz sucks! Yes, he is closeted and repressed and all of that is sad. But just don´t fuck with your son´s friend! Patrick is allowed to be dumb and go for it, he is teenager. But Cruz is an adult, and shouldn´t even entertain the idea. He can go and secretly fuck with dudes his age. And I think it makes complete sense that Patrick didn´t tell Cruz that he slept with Ivan. It´s not Patrick´s place to out Ivan to his father. And Patrick firmly told him that there shouldn´t happen anything between them again, which is good. If you don´t like Samu and Ari together I guess it´s good that Samu seems to die by the end of the season! I hate that he confessed. Benjamin is so full of himself. There is no way he is getting Samu out. But Samu sees him as a father figure, which he never had and that´s why he trusts him. But it´s still stupid, just let Benjamin take the fall.
