When S1 aired, I was also not a fan of Grace but after she was brought in to the fray, I started to like her during this season way more. I don't know if this is an actual used term or not but I've come to realize hate for Grace in S1 and Jared in S2 is somethiing I've seen in a few other shows and what I've come to think of as "protagonist bias". As a viewer, you are usually, either intentional or not, rooting for the main character you are following and if any character does something antagonistic towards them, viewers tend to hate that character.

2023-03-08 01:53:02 +0000 UTCAdrian basically says that all the good that happened due to the callings is just fabricated to make us trust the callings. Like the callings create those bad situations for us to solve in the first place. But I don´t believe it. Like for example at the very beginning. The kidnapped girls, they were kidnapped before the plane returned. So Michaela saving those girls was 100% just a good thing that happened. I´m glad the baby is ok. And Grace too, I guess. Even though, if she were gone... Ben could have found a better partner, perhaps a doctor or something... While Jared might not have been in a hategroup. I still hate him. Yes he wasn´t plotting to kill Michaela. But I still (and forever will) hold it against him that he stalked Zeke and framed him for the accident. Just because he was a petty, jealous ex. I like the finale of season 2 a lot. So I´m very looking forward to the next few episodes.
