Kids are hysterical and apologetically themselves. I remember I did daycare in high school when I had real bad acne and one of the kids said Why does your face look like that, will all those red dots? I was like I don't know kid. I. Don't. Know. lol

Haha, Austin is telling the whole truth little kids are hilarious I used to work with little kids and one of them told me my hair was ugly. I'm like tell me how you really feel. I do admire children's honesty though. Also I like the parallel between the two Thanksgiving it was a nice touch.

2023-03-11 03:22:13 +0000 UTCI'd say both maturity and trauma LOL I could definitely see Georgia feeling like that a little bit, but I also don't think that would be the majority of her feelings towards it because she is constantly trying to show Ginny how much easier she's had it over herself. Although, that could also be the reason why she keeps trying to prove it to Ginny. This could be the key to helping Georgia understand physical abuse vs mental abuse.

It’s a bit of a different feel this season but I think it’s better, I think the writing is more conscientious, the mental health stuff is dealt with in a much more mature way, as are the race issues. I love watching this show with you, we have pretty much identical opinions on the reasons behind various characters decisions. Maybe we’re just super mature, maybe it’s trauma, one of the two 😂🫡 The only thing I have a different view on is Georgias reasons behind the “they ran away like I ran away” quote. I think Georgia is referring to when she ran away from home at 15, when she first met Zion. She ran away because she was being abused and it was a horrible situation and she’s devastated because she’s comparing ginnys opinion of her to her opinion of her own mother and step dad.

2023-03-06 09:38:51 +0000 UTCyes we’ve made it to season 2! i remember being so shook by ginny’s nightmare. the fact that this season opened with that. it really is so much darker. that scene with ginny and zion is so well done. i’m grateful he booked her a therapy appointment. i really wish georgia was more receptive to the idea of therapy but once again she dismissed it as whining about your problems. it’s really no wonder ginny doesn’t want her to know. i feel terrible for abby. she had basically no part in the secret and max and norah are shunning her when she’s already going through a hard time especially during the holidays. also fri-yay sounds like fun! deep fried things are always awesome.
