2023-03-06 13:09:55 +0000 UTCI love that the episode was titled Ted’s Not Dead. The best kind of spoiler. The irony of Ted saying he chose Brian because he’s a heartless shit and would know when it was time to go when he struggled so much with that decision was great to watch. Watching Brian struggle through his feelings is always an interesting time. I love that talk with him and Lindsay. Justin does kinda always seem to show up at the most convenient times. I do think it is more than that but Brian doesn’t believe in love and it hasn’t been that long. It’s just interesting because Brian is a one night stand kinda guy yet he’s hooked up with him quite a few times now so he’s gotta be intrigued on some level. Justin himself is so adorably dramatic and bratty it’s endearing in a way. And yeah idk if the Chris Hobbs thing was a good idea. I think there’s always a risk when doing things like that especially with jocks at that age. The convo with Michael and Emmett was pretty great. Them just being real and raw with each other. They do all have some amazing one-on-one friendships in their friend group. I will always say it but Debbie is the actual best. Just an all around amazing mother and person.

2023-03-05 10:13:35 +0000 UTCI don´t think Brian is "in love" with Justin either. How could he? I mean, I don´t think Brian is at a point where he could love someone. And they barely interacted with each other outside of fucking. But, I think there is something there. It could just be convenient timing. But I feel like Brian is intrigued by Justin. From how he talks, and initially talked to Justin too, it sounded like Brian exclusively does ONS. He "had them" and loses interest. Despite that he has done it with Justin on 3-4 separate occasions now. The first time, the morning after, last episode after the club and in this episode in Mike´s room. I feel like Justin and Ted are complete opposites to eachother. They both have crushes but go about them very differently. Justin is VERY proactive, to a point that he is kinda harassing Brian. But Brian keeps reciprocating, so I guess it works out? Still feeling bad how Justin convinces himself that there is more than there is. Ted on the other hand is passive and doesn´t even try to start something with Michael, or anyone else. And I guess that he ended up in a coma the one time he went for someone is proving him right. I´m glad Justin´s mom tried to be supportive, even if it backfired a bit. I can sympathize with Justin freaking out. Like dropping that while driving was a terrible idea. He could have definitely crashed I think. About the dad. I don´t think he knows or really had any reason to "think" that Justin is gay. I´m assuming he is the kind of "masculine" father who just uses homophobic insults on the basis that Justin is not "manly" enough. He isn´t into sports and instead is interest in art etc. So his dad is insulting him like that. But it would likely be way worse if he actually suspected or knew that Justin is gay.
