2023-03-29 12:09:25 +0000 UTCalso i’m not sure if anyone told you this but the storyline of eddie being in love with camila wasn’t in the book. but i actually really love the change (not gonna lie it makes me want them together) and i think it makes a lot of sense especially because eddie and billy having beef WAS in the book. and to me adding the aspect of him being in love with camila and seeing all the stuff that billy has put her through makes his bitterness even more understandable. because what was in the book that’s also in the show is (like you mentioned) eddie being annoyed at how controlling billy is. but in the book eddie annoyed me a lot while in the show i’m a lot more understanding and i actually like his character so i’m glad about that.

2023-03-03 23:15:51 +0000 UTCdon’t worry billy being an asshole isn’t an unpopular opinion. he’s a very frustrating character but like you said he’s so interesting to watch. i’ve never felt so conflicted about a character ever when i was reading something. like he’s both likable and dislikable at the same time and i can both understand him and not understand him at all at the same time. the things he says also directly contradict what he’s feeling like he’s telling camila it sucked and it was a nightmare but then we cut to him turning up daisy’s voice and listening to her isolated vocals. and this isn’t just a show thing he was very hard to read in the book as well.
