2023-03-05 02:37:39 +0000 UTCif i remember they touch on it more in ep 3 but one of the main reasons billy started drinking so much and doing everything he did like cheating and drugs was because he was afraid of being a father because of his own dad. he was afraid of messing it all up with his own child. he even said at some point in the book that a part of him wanted her to leave him when she caught him. definitely doesn’t make anything he did right but it gives more understanding.
