Definitely enjoyed this season but I agree, I hope that they start to do even just 2 episode per week. Cramming everything into 1 month is so much and I'd rather it last longer !

I think the reason why season 2 feels "incomplete" compared to season 1 is that we aren´t done with the Conclave story arc. Season 1 had a nice wrap up and finished the Briarwoods while teasing the dragons. This teased that more is to come with the dragons, but it doesn´t hit as hard, because obviously there is more with the dragons since there are 3 left. The Conclave is just a much longer arc. For comparison, the Briarwoods was 15 livestreams in the campaign, so ~60 hours. While the entire Conclave arc was 45 episodes, so thrice as long at ~180 hours. This felt more like preparation for the big things. We got new items and power upgrades and next season we can really start to make progress. It feels like we are just in the middle of a 24 episode season. I would kinda hope they move away from the 3 episode drops. It´s nice, but I think I would also enjoy 1 episode per week and for it to last longer. Also, since Amazon is clearly very invested in this universe and already ordered Campaign 2 I have some hope that they might have more budget, can hire more people and season 3 might happen sooner, and we won´t have to wait an entire year. That being said, I still really enjoyed what they did with season 2. It was fun. And we got a lot more backstory for everyone else. Season 1 was pretty much almost entirely focused on Percy, which made sense with the Briarwoods, but it´s nice that everyone else got their moments and parts of their backstory here. Keyleth and her journey, The twins and their father. How Pike and Grog met and Grogs confrontation with his uncle. All really good stuff.
