Very good point and, idk why, but that's not something I usually consider with TV shows. I always look for who directed a movie, but don't typically take that into consideration with shows!

It's always hard when the secret is not yours to tell, the fact that it was about Vance and Ben was trying to be loyal to him makes me feel for Ben. I just hate that poor Saanvi got caught in the mix! She is so fragile right now, so I hope she will forgive him and understand.

I think sometimes directing can also be a factor in actors overacting. Manifest is one of those shows with a very high amount of one-episode only directors (including this episode).

me and many of my friends have noticed how sometimes the acting isn’t the best, but it’s funny because i feel like the more i rewatch it, the less i notice it lol. i feel like usually it’s the other way around, but yea you guys aren’t alone.
i think with the ben and saanvi situation, i think ben was not only trying to keep her safe and make sure vance’s wishes were granted, but he also knew there was a reason as to why vance needed to keep himself hidden. i think he knew vance wouldn’t tell him not to tell anyone unless it was for the safety and good of others, especially now knowing that saanvi’s psychiatrist was the major, there seems to be good reason for it. one slip up, even by someone from our side could ruin everything so i kind of understand where they were coming from, but i also understand why saanvi was upset for sure.

I see your point about Michaela. I think especially in really emotional scenes, like that with Zeke she tends to overact. But I´m not too bothered by it. I like her character and can usually look past it.
Again, I really don´t see Saanvi´s lab assistant doing anything bad. He just looked so hurt and I feel bad for him.
I´m really happy about the progress they made this episode. We dealt with Zeke in prison and figured out the major. Both are two plotpoints I really didn´t want to drag on for much longer.
I think the open her eyes calling also fits for Olive. But I don´t think it was about her. The gargoyle just doesn´t fit into the picture if it´s about Olive. Since it´s clearly referencing the school and the husband of that woman.
It´s nice that Ben got a job now, and with the campus we have a new location to use more frequently. Also nice to see them keep using TJ, I like him, and he helped Ben out with the lecture. So since Ben will be there now we might see TJ more often too.
