Awesome! Merlin Thursdays sound fun! And I knew you wouldn't be able to pick up Haven on your own because you are watching so many other shows at the moment. So, maybe sometime soon, I will request more Haven from you. But for now, I would like to get you back into Person of Interest a bit more starting next month, once you've finished watching Andor for me this month. As well as more movie requests too!! I've missed your movie reactions and reactions to Person of Interest! :) Thank you, Jessie! Sincerely, Heidi

I definitely loved all of the goofy banter and the in depth character building in only the first episode! I just started Merlin and The Witcher and will be starting Vox Machina in a week, so I can't take on any new shows at the moment, but it will definitely be on the list as a contender for when I am able to again!

This was awesome!!! Thank you! And I agree about the mystery in the episode. The rewatchability on this is insane when you know all the answers. It has like 5 seasons and they make one long story, more or less. I started the show because of its resemblance to OUAT, which highlighted all the things that were different. Like the tone of the show. And like Emma vs Audrey on believing the impossible. OUAT was much more episodic with a mystery set up and reveal combined in a single episode. For Haven, the episodic cases are the weakest parts IMO. The show spends much more time to build the characters and the world for the overall story. And it just lets the mystery stew forever before it gives pieces of the answer. I love it. Also love how the casual conversation whenever there's a quiet moment is so full of character. "How do you keep a car THAT long?" "I don't drive off cliffs." is maybe my favorite one this episode. I really hope you continue the series.

Good call!

It was really fun! Unfortunately I only did it because it was a request from a tier upgrade and I'm not looking to take on any new shows a the moment since I just picked up Merlin. But I definitely wouldn't mind do more requests for it in the future!

It was requested by someone who upgraded their tier, I had never heard of it, but I really enjoyed it!

I really like Duke so far, I hope we get to see more of him in the future. About her boss. I think the end of the episode was implying that he made the road split open. So he was setting her up to meet Nathan? And about the phone call, I also think it´s the sheriff. That´s why he set up the meeting with Nathan, so she would immediately get involved with the police there.

Welcome to Haven- Yay!! Thank you so much for this fantastic reaction for Haven, Jessie! It's fabulous that you've begun to watch Haven, and shortly after I recommended it to you as well! I am so happy you enjoyed this first episode and that you're intrigued to watch more. I really hope that you choose to continue watching this show. If you can't due to you having too many other shows to watch, I completely understand, of course. Perhaps I will request more episodes of Haven for you to enjoy. Maybe you could watch more Haven, in place of Lucifer, since you're having to put Lucifer on the backburner for now. Just an idea. :) This is a fantastic Sci-Fi/thriller show, loosely based on one of Stephen King's novels... The Colorado Kid. The novel focuses around the mysterious death of the Colorado Kid, which is alluded to within this episode, as both the reporters and Nathan talk to Audrey about it. And this mystery is focused on throughout this entire series to various degrees. However, there's so much more within this show too, allowing for the Colorado Kid mystery from the novel become a backstory so that our characters and their overarching stories, as well as the other mysteries of Haven can be this show's main focus. The two Haven Herald reporters, whom you stated remind you of the two grumpy old men from The Muppets (a fantastic comparison), are the only two characters taken from the novel and brought into this show. Audrey, Nathan, and everyone else as far as I can remember, are all original characters written for this show. I love this show's overall premise and the mysteries that unfold through the seasons. Haven most certainly is full of open mysteries for Audrey and Nathan to uncover. And the town Haven is quite beautiful. It's filmed in Nova Scotia, Canada. As for the characters... I love Audrey and Duke, as well as the two old reporters, Vince and Dave. And Chief Wuornos too. However, my absolute favorite character all throughout this show is Nathan Wuornos, played by actor... Lucas Bryant, whom I love in everything else I've seen him in. I love his calm and quiet demeanor, the story arc between him and his father... the Chief, that shows us why their relationship is so strained, Nathan's sarcasm and banter with both Audrey and Duke, and I love that Nathan has an infliction with being unable to feel anything. It's very intriguing, and I've never seen another show where a character has such an infliction. I really like how Audrey figures out that Marian controls the weather unintentionally whenever she loses control of her temper. And I love the mystery throughout the town where there was people within Marian's family with the same ability, as well as other strange things going on in Haven... including the crevasses opening within the roads. And lastly... I love the mystery behind the newspaper article about the Colorado Kid murder that shows an image of a woman who looks identical to Audrey. There's so much to come!! Thank you so much again, Jessie! I really hope to see more Haven reactions from you!! I think you will absolutely come to love this show too! It certainly has Once Upon a Time vibes, thanks to the mysteries behind the supernatural, or magical elements within this show. Haven is just more supernatural than it is magical. Enjoy! You're amazing, dear friend! :) Sincerely, Heidi
