I was 18 and my father still wouldn't allow my bf to stay over, but I also think that had a lot to do with me being the "baby" in addition to the only girl in the family with 2 older brothers lol

So he doesn't want Benjamin to do the same thing with Mencia. Mencia is seriously so naive. I get that she's young, and that she's mad at her dad- ok. But accepting gifts from the guy who gave you money before only when you slept with him? That's stupid. The sleeping in the same bed with your serious gf/bf is a little different in Europe though, at least in my circle of friends that wasn't a huge deal. With some parents! When you had strict parents that obviously was a problem, but others were fine with it (after making sure the kids in question knew about protection of course).
