A question for all the 40k players!

Hello everyone! After playing probably one of the most heavily house-ruled, and MOST FUN games of 40k I've ever played last night, I'd like to know something from YOU...

Do you use any "house rules" when you play 40k? Or any other game, really...

If so, can you let me know what they are in the comments? I've got 4 or 5 pretty solid ones already, so it might make a fun topic for a video if we can expand the selection slightly :)

If we mention them in the video, we'll obviously credit you!

Lots of love

Guy

My favorite way to play is grab 3 friends for four total players and everyone brings a mystery 1000 pt list do not share what you are bringing then roll for random teams and play a 2v2 ( not sure if thats house rules) but its my favorite way to play

We play OPR, which is our "house rule."

the winner of the game recieves an infantry model from your army, selected by the loser, as their hostage. This model may be won back next time you meet, bargained for in the pub afterwards- or have their parts turned into a trophy piece for the base of a character if both players agree.

Not really a house rule, but tend to agree a limit on strategems, most of them are just confusing gotcha type rules, so we tend to use CP for rerolls and overwatch (army defining strategems aside obviously)
