What do YOU want to know about...
Added 2024-01-09 11:21:48 +0000 UTC3d printing?!
We'll be kicking off 2024 with a red hot collab, a giant in the 3d printing field, and one of the things we'd like to create in our day together is a rapid-fire "no stupid questions" Q&A about 3d printing.
As you know, I'm pretty much a 3d printing noob myself. I had one briefly, and had about 10 fails to 2 useable prints, so abandoned it pretty quick-smart... but the person I'll be making the video with is an absolute PRO.
Don't be shy, don't be embarrassed, what would you like to know about 3d printing? The materials, process, terminology, good sculptors, pitfalls, dangers, benefits - ANYTHING!
Just ask, and I'll do my best to have an informative, useful answer for you!
Lots of love,
Guy

I would like to know the best practices for keeping the plate in balance. My roommate had a 3D printer and it seemed like he always had trouble with prints failing due to the plate being out of balance.

2024-01-09 21:14:31 +0000 UTCI don't have the space for a printer myself, so I rely on paying others to print for me. A number of the finer, more spindly resin models I've gotten are extremely brittle and prone to shattering. I'd like to hear about different, more flexible resins and whether they come with a trade-off in print quality, are more expensive, etc.
