This is how my local game shop plays. We use the Combat Patrol box sets and use simplified rules with the emphasis on having fun over slaving over complex rule interpretations from obscure White Dwarf issues. As most players know the box sets are not even with some being βbetterβ than others at least point wise. We also know that wars in real life are very rarely fought with even armies either. We often set the game rounds as a single D6
