An idea for Drukhari vs Genestealer Cult

Hey team! I've been playing around with an idea, and I'd like to know what you think.

The next game in the Start Collecting DEATHMATCH series will be Drukhari vs Genestealer Cult. Now, when the tournament was organised, both of these teams were two of the lightest in terms of points in the box, meaning that while luck may still help them through, their force strength would disadvantage them against some of the bigger boxes.

Since I organised the tournament bracket, Drukhari have received a very powerful codex update. Many competitive players consider it overpowered, but competitive players literally always complain, so let's not dwell on that too much.

Drukhari are the definition of a "glass cannon". Very strong, very fast, but very fragile. Genestealer Cult can certainly dish out some damage, but the tables are very much skewed against them now. The problem here is that, if Drukhari go first on turn 1, they can put out so many attacks and so much firepower that Genestealer Cult may not even get a turn, which would be a pretty boring video, and I'd imagine it would be a disappointment for everyone watching, too.

Here's my proposal: Use this game as a "beta rules" trial, where instead of removing models as and when they receive wounds, we would keep track of how many wounds were dealt, but wait until the end of each battle round (rather than each player's turn) for both sides to remove their casualties, and perform any morale checks as needed.

This is similar to the way Warhammer 40k Apocalypse rules work, and it's a popular game mechanic used in many other tabletop games.
