[INFLUECE THE DEVELOPMENT] What should I focus on?

We've come a long way since Early Access started, and I'm very proud of what this mod and the community around it has become.

I wanted to ask you, my followers: What would you like me to focus on now?

I am looking forward to your comments so I can focus on the important stuff.

Thank you in advance for the help guys, appreciate it!

It's ok, I'm here to help! And thank you very much

Ruslan Libin

sorry for wasting your time rus just fixed it lol btw beautiful mods are made from you

Lachlan

It works in Rockstar editor but the characters head reappears on which it shows the cam inside of the head showing its teeth, idk if that’s makes sense but yeah.

At your service o7

Ruslan Libin

you absolute legend, you <3

Anton Hallin

This has been already fixed, and will be available in the update that is coming in a couple hours.

Ruslan Libin

I already commented here, but another thing I'd love to see get improved is the offset configuration. Especially when it comes to ViewpointV first person in the vehicles. Some cars don't fit quite right, and when I change an offset, it changes either +1 or -1, with no in-between. It would be great if I could just change the offset by 0.1 to perfect the offset. I apologize if this is incomprehensible. English is not my maternal language.

Anton Hallin

Will fix by weekend, thanks for the report!

Ruslan Libin

Pressing C works but on the controller pressing the right thumbstick while driving doesn't allow the camera to look backwards. Are there any fixes for that soon?

Another thing would be, maybe a customization setting, to tweak how much the camera bobs from side to side, and so on.

Anton Hallin

You can edit the reticle in the menu. Go to Edit This Camera -> HUD.

Ruslan Libin

For me, the most annoying thing is the reticle in First Person. It's big and blurry, and white. And when that's used with something like NVE's Darker Nights, the white gets so bright that I can't see anything else.

Anton Hallin

Definetely hit me up with the audio source you got! About the Screenshot script, making it work with VP is a big mess, but luckily I plan on adding a Free Cam Mode to VP, which could be used to take screenshots in the same way. It is not currently the top priority though, so hope it's not urgent for you.

Ruslan Libin

These are in no particular order of importance. 1. Axon Bodycam audio beeps every 120 seconds, not a big deal just adds more immersion. If you want a good audio source, hit me up, I have a few that are good. 2. Noticed the In Game Screenshot script by Jedijosh no longer works when ViewPointV is installed. This is not a huge deal as I only use it for certain aspects of the game.

BlueLine Vibes

Let me know if you need any help. I can take any refrence videos of me shooting most guns in the game at any angle to help give better refrence, put a laser on my handguns and send a first person shooting vid to help make that reticle/crosshair move more realisticly, help with audio or literally anything you need to refrence with real guns just hmu on here or discord ( I'm the prime minister Mustafa guy)

basicall cinamatic mode for when driving car.. : ) Specially since my game has extra character animtions when idling in the cars... its always emersion breaking when the extra idle animations play and the camera doesnt follow the body/head. but only try to implement the idea if it possible, i can just use standard FPV if my idea isnt do-able. : )

nemsmis steve

sadly i have no examples : ( I was thinking if it was possible to have a toggle/option when in a vehicle fpv and just have the camera follow the characts head.. e.g if they move or turn their heads the camera auto follows the direction n stuff.....

nemsmis steve

How would you like the Cinematic Camera to work? Do you have an example?

Ruslan Libin

You can already use it in R* Editor :) You can't access the menu of VP, but when choosing "Game Camera" in the Editor you will see the camera you used in game, even if it is a VP camera like First Person Camera

Ruslan Libin

I made something very similar at the beginning stages of the mod, while working on the Vehicle First Person Camera accidently and promised myself to get back to it. It was about 4 months ago and I completely forgot about it, thank you for the reminder!

Ruslan Libin

Just got back to this comment to take notes, thank you for such a detailed list! I think I will make some of these as separate mods (free for everyone).

Ruslan Libin

bieng able to aim down weapon sights and a cinimatic mode (option) for FPV mode while driving/when bieng a passenger in car : )

nemsmis steve

1) a costomizable crosshair 2) make a free version available only 15days or like this

Noah V

I would love to see a FiveM Version! So it could be used as well in R* Editor

Mxrcy

I know I already said this over discord but a reticle for first person vehicle view to allow for easier drive-bys would be sick

BYSON

I'm very happy with your quick feedback and passionate work speed, at least for me :) One recommendation to add a feature is that https://youtu.be/M6u-G_peX90?t=298 I recommend the Vehicle third person camera from this Gran Turismo game.(in 4:58)

The shooting aspect bro! So I shoot alot irl and this mod is great but there's a few things that can b done to make it more realistic 1: recoil should be less predictable as right now the character can control recoil too well as it's mainly entirely vertical movement that returns to the exact same spot (makes me feel like a grand Master competition shooter rather than a cop...like instead of a consistant vertical lift the crosshair returned to a random spot close to the target so if you wanna shoot quick you gotta actually control the gun instead of just clicking the mouse quick as possible .it would make the gameplay 100x better and make firefights wayy more rewarding and realistic 2: Suppression effect: essentially just like the " #3 concussion suggestion" when you are pinned down/suppressed taking fire or bullets wiz by you, the sides of your screen will flash darken slightly (will send like to arma 3 mod/yt demonstration vid that gave me this idea...mod/workshop item is called "immerse" 3: Muzzle concussion/overpressure/tunnel vision effect: this is something that really brings immersion to gunplay...essentially everytime you fire your gun the sides of your screen darken slightly, the best way to demonstrate this is the arma 3 mod "immerse"...I'll send a link so you see what I mean 4: force impact effects...every time u get clocked in the face in real life, brain slightly jerks so you see almost a .1 second visual shake ( don't belive me, punch yourself in the face and see how your vision shifts really quickly)....would b awsome to simulate that with this mod, fighting a dude in first person and seeing him hit you with that right hook & your screen shaking a lil will definitely add immersion haha Anyways my dude love the mod, if you added these it would make gta so fucking realistic
