oOo I like that theory a lot! I was hoping to see the Gun Devil too, but oh well. Maybe they're trying to rope people in to read the Manga lol

2022-12-28 01:00:12 +0000 UTCThe ending of the episode is so vague, they are definitely expecting to get a season 2. And the show is popular, so I would be shocked if it won´t happen. I was kinda expecting to atleast see a glimpse of the Gun Devil in the finale, but oh well, I guess we are saving that for season 2. As for the dream. That´s pure speculation on my part and I´m not sure if any of that would somehow make sense. But we know that Pochita is the Chainsaw Devil, and he replaced Denji´s heart. So they are both "in" Denji now. So I kinda think the door is a metaphorical door into Denji´s psyche, and Pochita´s consciousness is "locked" behind it. So maybe he locked himself behind that "door" to let Denji have the control. But if he were to open it Pochita would take over his body, and perhaps Denji would just disappear? Which is why Pochita told him to not do it?
