Back in season 1 she mentioned to Marina that she lost contact/broke with the family and that´s partly why Nadia was so insistent on making her family happy. She also mentioned how she helped her sister get an abortion and after that they didn´t talk anymore because Nadia was judging her for it. But I´m really surprised they casually brought her into this. The way they talked about her I felt like she died or they had no idea where she was. Nadia was confusing and irritating. Ok she is unsure what/if she wants this relationship. But her approach was so weird! And I´m kinda annoyed by that. I feel like the way they care for each other they would be able to make it work.
