They didn´t split the short stories up. So no idea why they did it in 3 parts. The 4 stories came out daily from Monday-Thursday the week before season 4 got released. And yeah, since it was in 2021 I don´t think Covid was involved in that, at that point I think most studios already worked around this stuff. I like this one, although overall I think it´s my least favourite. But they did a great job characterizing Alexis, after we barely saw him in season 3. About Rebe. I think she has empathy for him and feels bad for him but she is just overwhelmed how to approach and interact with him. And about her house, she and her mom moved into a considerably smaller house, presumably because her mom stopped dealing. If you compare it to their (Guzman´s) old house that one was a lot bigger, had an indoor pool etc. So they already downgraded.
