It was def a fantastic ending to the first three seasons as a whole and I'm glad we got this kind of ending considering what came after with seasons 4 and 5 lol That's so awesome that you got to interview Miguel!!!

I would agree with what you said first about the similarities and differences. Yes, Polo snapped, but he actively picked up the trophy and bashed Marina's skull in (which in my eyes makes it very much not an "accident"). Lu gestured with the bottle, maybe to emphasize her anger, maybe to threaten to Polo, and then stumbled forward because she was wasted, and pushed the bottle into Polo's heart by accident. But I will admit that I'm biased because Lu is my favorite, haha. Guzman saying he forgives Polo makes me so emotional every time, and I've rewatched this episode A LOT. One of the highlights of my journalistic career so far was when I got to tell this to Miguel Bernardeau (Guzman) when I interviewed him via video chat about another project he was doing last year. In terms of what Polo had ever done to Lu- in the past yeah, he hurt her then-boyfriend and her best friend, not her directly. But in that very moment, Lu was still under the impression that he was responsible for her scholarship being taken away - pretty much her future! And she doesn't have anything going for her in Madrid. Nadia also lost the scholarship (they think), but her family loves her, she and Guzman were already saying they could stay together if Nadia wasn't leaving. Lu doesn't have any of that. I think Lu lost it not only because of that and because of "Guzman doesn't love you" - she was at a point where she probably believed Polo's claim that nobody loved her. Guzman didn't love her back the way she loved him. Valerio told her fairly recently that he didn't love her like he had all those years anymore. Her friendship with Carla had cooled off significantly, Caye's friendship had been a lie. Her own family, the people who are always supposed to love you, dropped her. And even Guzman's parents, the family who actually liked her and was a way more regular presence in her life than her own dad, derided her earlier that very day. She lost it because she was so scared that Polo was right. But then they all took this huge risk for her, proving Polo wrong. It warmed my heart to see all these people caring for Lu. The way Valerio gets her to lie, the little forehead touch- gawddd, my heart 😭❤️ Carla was scared after realizing that Samuel would do anything for her. The last time she had a boy worship her like that, it was Polo- who killed for her and whose dead body she's just left at the club. That's why she didn't go through with telling Samuel they could be together. This is my favorite Elite episode. It's sooo good! And I think it's not just the perfect ending to season 3, but to the first three seasons as a whole. A beautiful finale that brought the whole story full circle and gave everyone closure. Sorry about this essay. What can I say- I have feelings, bitch!

I really love how they all came together too

I love the contrast between Lu´s situation and Polo´s I feel like Lu´s was more of an accident, we saw her drink excessively throughout the episode, so she was really drunk. I always saw that scene as she just wanted to push him against the wall and forgot she got the bottle in her hand and accidentally stabbed him. The other difference is that she immediately came clean to everyone and didn´t try to hide it like Polo. And all of them protected her! Kinda proving Polo´s statement about how no one cares for her wrong. I just love how all of them came together. I also thought the blood would screw Caye, but it didn´t. I think they just included that to justify the scene in her episode when we saw her bleed when they asked to question her. Back when we didn´t know who did it.
