Great episode! I loved the sweet little moments between Lu and Guzman as well. They're so much better as friends. But yeah, Lu's family has effectively ostracized her. The fact they didn't come to her graduation, where she was winning a prize?? Ooof. And she was such a high-achiever, too, doing well was really important to her, and to have her parents show they don't give a shit is awful. I spoiled myself in a really stupid way back when I was watching this in 2020, but I wasn't 100% certain I had read correctly, so my top suspect was Cayetana :D

But it´s definitely a glee reference, for some reason. His character is named Bill McKinley. McKinley was the name of the school in Glee!
