I noticed the buzz about it on twitter ever since it was announced, but I wasn´t planning to watch it. But this was great! I know as much as you, which is basically nothing. I love Pochita, and I already miss him now that he is seemingly gone. He is so cute, even though I would be terrified constantly having a walking chainsaw around, which could kill me if it wants to. MAPPA, the animationstudio always does really great stuff. Another anime this reminds me of which you would probably enjoy is Parasyte -the maxim- It got a very similar vibe, it´s also kinda horror/gore. Especially the relationship with Pochita and Denji reminds me a lot of that anime.
