That's a good point! I should've said Ricky falls in love with love easily, but the actual situations are far from actually being true love. I def think that Lily was a rebound and agree that only now is he starting to truly understand his real feelings for Gina and what all that meant to him. I also love you comparison of Lily and Gina, I've never heard that opinion before and it makes total sense. As for Ashlyn I just love her and Big Red so much! But I was just talking about it to someone else and I would love for her to have a crush on Val and just be able to explore her feelings on being Bi or Pan. Kind of just figuring out yet again another new thing about herself that she didn't know. BUT I do love Meg SO much and would not object to her being written in to Season 4 sooo maybe I should ship them! lol

I went off on too big of a Rina/Portwell rant lol It did cross my mind that that's what Maddox was implying, but I think my brain didn't want to believe it because yes, I don't want Big Red and her to has issues either! But just because she figures out yet again another thing she didn't know about herself here at camp does not mean that she has to break up with him. Maybe it will be just an attraction instead of a crush and just be eye opening for her. I agree with the Kourtney story too and I really hope that they will incorporate more as well. I'm thinking that will show up a lot in Let It Go.

2022-08-19 13:42:32 +0000 UTCI agreed with a lot of your Rina thoughts (though I'm a sucker for them) but I don't think that Ricky falls in love easily. We've only ever seen him be in love with Nini and have feelings for Gina. He dated Lily but nothing about what he's said or what we saw of them makes me think that he was ever in love with her. I'm not even fully convinced he liked her. I get the feeling that he was lonely and everyone around him was moving on (Nini, Gina & EJ, his dad, his mom, etc.) and he felt pressure to do the same. If we wanted to be super Rina stan about it, then an argument could be made that him choosing to give Lily a second chance was him subconsciously trying to repeat what he had with Gina. Gina was the new, super talented mean girl that he gave a second chance and it turned into something special at a time in his life when he really needed it. Lily in S2 was the new, super talented mean girl. Without character development, she's really a knock-off Gina so it's an interesting choice for her to be his rebound. As for Ashlyn, all season everyone's been speculating her and Maddox but I kinda want to see her and Val now that Maddox said it in her talking head interview.

2022-08-19 00:10:32 +0000 UTCI feel so bad for EJ! He doesn´t really have a choice. He needs this TV show, and it could be a great opportunity for everyone else. I kinda hope he just gathers everyone in their cabins and is transparent about "creating drama" so everyone is in on it, and no one will take anything personal. My problem with Love is an open door is the arrangement. It felt a bit overproduced, like Tale as old as Time in last season. I´m not sure if you forgot about it or if it just didn´t click. Maddox was implying the reason why Ashlyn is so mean towards Val is that she is having a crush on Val. So Ashlyn is potentially bi. Which would be interesting, but at the same time I really don´t want anything to happen because I love her relationship with Red. I like that they give Kourtney this anxiety story. Or atleast I like the idea of it. I hope they properly explore that and it´s not just a throwaway plotline so she has something to do this season.
