I love that they made Hook also Flynn/Eugene. I always thought they shared similarities lol Your reaction to Alice being his daughter was EVERYTHING. xD Eloise was a misdrirect. Hook was looking for his daughter in the other realm. When the curse hit Rogers knew he was looking for someone and the curse gave him the memories of this missing girl named "Eloise Gardener." But it was just a piece of the puzzle to bring down Belfrey. Rogers was searching for Gothel this whole time. Gothel had a magic golden flower in the movie, but in the fairytale, she had a garden. In the story, Rapunzel's mother had pregnancy cravings for the Campanula rapunculus (or Bellflower) that grew in the witch's garden and so her father stole them from her garden for his wife. The witch caught him and agreed to give him the vegetable in exchange for the child. When the baby came, she took the baby from them and named it "Rapunzel" after her mother's craving. So "Gardener" is another play on what she does. Similar to Mills, Gold, Weaver, and Rogers. I love this episode so much. Tangled is my favorite Disney Princess movie and Alice in Wonderland is my favorite Story...and Peter Pan is a close second...mix them together, and what do you got? Bibbity bobbity-A masterpiece. I adore Daddy Hook so much. I'm a sucker for Single Fathers with daughters.
