2023-03-30 23:30:28 +0000 UTCRe: Lu's English- it's definitely more this season, I'm not sure how often she did it last season. It makes sense for her to occasionally use some English. Not only is she Mexican and thus grew up culturally closer to the US (as opposed to the rest of her classmates who are Spanish), she also moved around constantly with her dad, who's a diplomat, so I'm willing to bet she went to international schools where English was the main language of instruction. Stuff like that sticks.

And I think Lu acted like that during the party primarily because she is frustrated that Guzman is acting like that, and she isn´t able to help him. Of course she wanted to find out about Caye, your pronounciation is fine btw, but as soon as Guzman started to lose it I think that was more important. I like Carla and Samu! It´s unexpected, but it kinda works. Carla mentioned to Polo that she is starting to lose it, and that she needs to talk to someone before she goes nuts. So that in combination with some drinks probably is why she so quickly admitted it to Samu. Of course no one would believe him, and she can just feign ignorance when he asked her about it later. But atleast she got it off her chest, atleast once. And based on that end scene with her being so shaken up after the interview she seemed to care about what happened to Samu. All of the newcomers are really fun and bring something different to the cast. Caye is pretending, so it´s only a matter of time until that will blow up in her face. Rebe doesn´t take crap from anyone. And Valerio just wants to party, and be with Lu. And his drug use also significantly worsen Guzman´s situation, since he is enabling him with drugs.
