Also, my friend would be very disappointed in me for not recognizing that that was Phoebe Bridgers, he loves her! I definitely agree, I'm usually fully on one side or absolutely hate the other, but I honestly have to say that as much as I'm on Team Jer right now, I can't deny how adorable and special it feels when Belly is with Conrad. That's also really hard to pull off, to have such great chemistry with both actors and make it so believable. All of these characters are so fun and I really hope we see them again too! Taylor was by far my least favorite, I don't care if she comes back at all LOL

2022-08-04 11:34:41 +0000 UTCDude this episode had me balling like a baby! As soon as they started playing Phoebe Bridgers “funeral” I was done for. Such a terrible situation for a family to go through. Susannah really is the heart of the family imo, and Laurel—their love. I’ve rewatched this show twice on my own and so many reactions now and this ep still gets to me. I think you asked about the song at the dance, it was Taylor swift “the way I loved you Taylor’s version” playing and fun fact, Taylor released “This Love Taylor’s Version” the re-record from 1989 just for this show. This is the song playing during the Belly Conrad kiss at the end. I think all of your reactions and feelings are so valid! I don’t think closure is a word in Belly or Conrad’s vocabulary lmao 😜 I think they are a good example of right person wrong time. I’ve never watched a show with a love triangle and was so conflicted on who I loved more. They did such a good job with making you love them all! You know I’m team Conrad, I just feel more of a spark with him and Belly. They are my endgame, even though it’s going to be a rough road there lol but I also love Jer, they are such great characters. I hope we get to see more of Nicole, Cam, and Shayla in the future. I could do without Taylor tbh, most eps she just made me angry. Overall: I’m so glad you loved the show! I loved watching your reactions! Season 2 started filming about a week ago already so hopefully we won’t have to wait too long! It’ll be interesting to see what S2 brings because there was a lot different from the book in S1 that affects the plot of book2 and S2. I’m so excited for it tho! Ps another fun fact, it was actually Jenny Han (the author of the books) who made a cameo at the Deb ball; she was the one in the pink dress by the champagne glass tower! 2022-08-02 12:15:54 +0000 UTCA couple of other tid bits you may not have noticed on first viewing. In ep 5 when conrad goes to bellys room looking for her he has wet hair. Pretty sure that was on purpose because she said it looks romantic. Also the infinity necklace. That’s not something you could pick up at any old jewellery store. It would have required time to source and Bellys birthday was before July 4 so pretty early on in summer which means he must have bought it for her prior to heading to cousins. Prior to seeing her glow up.
